Semi-formal and comfortable. A nice button-up shirt or a dress is perfect. The celebration is outdoors on garden grounds, so we suggest block heels or flats rather than thin stiletto heels. It will be warm and humid, so light, breathable fabrics will keep you comfortable, and a light layer is nice for later in the evening when it cools down a bit.

Honestly, your presence is the gift, especially knowing many of you are traveling far to be with us. We are not looking for a lot of physical gifts. Instead, we have put together a registry with different things you can contribute toward, from small to big, whatever feels right to you. You will find it linked here or after you RSVP.

Mid-November is late spring in Rio, warm and tropical. Daytime can reach the low-to-mid 80s°F (around 28°C) with high humidity, and evenings are pleasant and a little cooler. Quick rain showers are common this time of year, so a compact umbrella is a smart thing to tuck in your bag. If you are making a trip of it, pack for the beach and for warm days out, plus something a touch dressier for the wedding.

Your invitation is for the people named on your RSVP. If children are named on your RSVP, they are warmly welcome to join us.

Flights:
International guests will most likely fly into Rio de Janeiro/Galeão International Airport (GIG), the city's main international airport. From Galeão it is roughly a 1 → 1.5 hour drive to the Recreio and Guaratiba area, depending on traffic. Santos Dumont (SDU) is the closer downtown airport and is mainly for domestic flights.
Getting Around:
Ride apps like Uber and 99 work well throughout Rio and are an easy way to move around. Parking is provided at the venue on the day of, but we also recommend using a ride app like Uber or carpooling.

Rio de Janeiro is full of activities especially for tourists. One thing to note is that the wedding venue is about 1.5 hours away from most of these activities. If you're looking to make a trip out of your time in Rio, we can recommend you some areas to stay in!
